This Privacy Policy explains what information the Wraply: Gift Wrap & Messages app ("the App", "we", "us") accesses, how we use it, and how we protect it when you install and use the App on your Shopify store. By installing the App you agree to this policy.

Information we access

With your consent (granted through Shopify's permission screen at install), the App accesses the following from your Shopify store, only as needed to provide its features:

• Store details — your store domain, primary currency, and plan, to configure and bill the App.
• Products — to create and manage the gift-wrap / gift-note products the App offers, and to read product details (title, image, tags) shown in the gift selector.
• Orders — to detect orders that contain a gift, optionally add a tag and gift details to the order note, and count your monthly gift-order usage against your plan limit. Orders may include customer information; we store only what is needed for these functions (see below) and do not use it for any other purpose.
• Online Store theme — read-only, to detect whether the gift widget is enabled on your product page, cart page, and cart drawer, so the App can show your setup status.
• Publications — read-only, to publish gift products to your sales channels.

Information we store

We store the minimum required to run the App: your store domain and settings, the gift products and text you configure, display and availability preferences, a monthly count of gift orders (for plan limits), and a secure Shopify session token. We do not store customer payment details, and we do not build customer profiles.

How we use information

• To provide and operate the App's gift-wrap and gift-message features on your storefront and admin.
• To apply your plan's monthly gift-order limit and manage billing through Shopify.
• To tag and annotate gift orders in your Shopify admin, when you enable those options.
• To provide support and troubleshoot issues you report.

How we share information

We do not sell or rent your data. Information is processed only through Shopify's APIs and our hosting and database providers, which store data on our behalf under their own security commitments. We may disclose information if required by law.

Data retention and deletion

We keep your data only while the App is installed. When you uninstall the App, we delete your store's data. We also honour Shopify's mandatory GDPR/CCPA data-privacy webhooks — customer data requests, customer redaction, and shop redaction — and respond to them by providing or deleting the relevant data as required.

Security

Data is transmitted over encrypted connections (HTTPS) and stored in access-controlled databases. Access tokens are stored securely and used only to communicate with Shopify on your behalf.

Your rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your data at any time by uninstalling the App or by contacting us. Merchants and their customers in regions such as the EU (GDPR) and California (CCPA) have the rights those laws provide; we support them through the Shopify privacy webhooks and by request.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected here with a new "Last updated" date.
